So there I was on BT OpenZone using their Google map thingy to look
for where I could use flaptop locally.
Thought I'd just hit the LEFT arrow till I got to the sea....to see
where the sea was in relation to me.
Imagine my astonishment when the drifting B-road level map passed
neatly across the hamlet of Curry Mallet. ( no, really)
Anysheddi who knows it, grateful for local detail
- is there a Post Office?
-What's the pub called and does it sell Badger beer ?
- Did you attend the local JMI ?
- Whose name is on the war memorial ?
- why is the local MP ?
I always wonder why our Gubmint (which art in Jrfgzvafgre) never pays
much attention to
' All well and good - but how will it play in Curry Mallet ? '
Or Stony Batter for that matter ?
I think we should be told.....
Zeal Monochorum (wot is a place not an expletive, but could be, knew someone wot lived there, but that were a while ago).
Lower Peover isn't far from where I type.
