As has been said, take out the battery and hard drive right away, put them
in a sock and use it to beat the little darlings round the head with.

Alternatively, rinsing with water then alcohol and leaving to dry for a few
days has helped with an old PDA which had coffee poured over it. Why did it
get coffee poured over it? To test if the "rinse with water then alcohol
and dry for a few days" trick I'd heard about worked. Look, I was bored, I
had a few spares in a drawer...
