no, it simply didn't seem like part of the series at all. The first 6
concern a classic battle (somewhat drawn out) between Good and Evil.
However, at the end of book 6, Evil is well and truly unmolished by the good
guys, who then depart to a higher plane of existence.
The 7th book mostly deals with something completely different.
