It doesn't seem to be giving me any options about it- the option is "export as WAV". The imported tracks are 44.1 KHz, and there's no obvious way to change that even if I wanted to. I can *play* the generated track, just not burn it.
Rather than WMP, I'd use Nero or whatever CD burning program I had

Just a thought - are there, perhaps, LiveCDs that include disk-burners ?
(k3b seems to be favourite, these days) ? So, as a last-resort, or for
clarification purposes or whatever, one could use it without having to
install penguins ?
