Yebbut, then you'll have an ugly, monospaced typeface, probably Courier.
If you care that much about what your poetry looks like, you probably
don't want it to look like Courier.

I admit it! I use Arial of one kind or another for almost everything,
even reading the Shedde.

Ah, I unforget that name from my W3.1 days, so did I. A sort of Helvetica,
isn't it ?

On the other hand, the more tightly you try and decide what fonts someone
else's machine should display things in, the more chance there is that that
machine won't have that font installed. Particularly if they are fonts that
you're only allowed to have by ohlvat them along with some commercial
product.

An old favourite, which can be found in many variations. I got bitten by it
again last night, for the first time in ages. I'm going up to Orkney next
week for the Folk Festival, as I usually do; this year, my fiends up there
have suggested that their band a has a gig or two for the festival so why
don't I become an honorary member and play with them ? Which is fun, and an
ancient tradition. To which end, they've very kindly emailed me a set of
recordings to practice along with. All attempts to play these files produce
a message that the playerpogroms are Not Allowed to play .wma format because
of Licensing Restrictions. Bleargh.
