Well and good up to now, but...

I reckon we all owe her more than we realise.

...how do you figure that? IMO, she was someone who saw a good
business opportunity, managed to do a bit (or more) of good in making
it, and got her rewards when that business made her a load of
well-earned grub. She will undoubtedly be missed by those near her,
but personally, I shan't miss her at all, no more than I should miss
her (hypothetical) neighbour who died a year earlier, or her next
cousin twice removed who shall die in a year or two. I knew none of
them personally; I have never bought a lot (or, TTBOMR, anything) in
her shops; I do not care strongly about most of her causes, and as
for animal testing, she was neither the only nor the first at that; I
reckon I owe her nothing. She may have made some people's lives
better, but she made mine neither better nor worse.
