Yebbut, cooking of disks is a slow process and you usually get
lots of warning about it (gradual increase in errors, clicking
noises as it tries to cope with thermal expansion of the wossname, etc.)
given the diks turns out to be only 12 fortnights young it smore likley
failure of the leptronic bits than the mechanicule bits, *too* much cow
inky dense for the fan and diks to die at that age.
This moose will put zu on the 12V part of the supply having
gone titsup.com, rather than a nactual drive failure.
all considered, I don't disagree, I just hope freezing the poor blighter
(or hfring it while still cold with possible dew on [or in] it) hasn't
shut it's shed door.
It showed a minimal improvement on emergence from the freezer but still
wooden start.
