I'd tell 'em something like what you said above - what you want them to do,
and have they got anything that might jbex. And, with luck, they'll say "Do
you mean a <magic phrase> ?" so you can say "I don't know, show me one". And
then, when they say "Aha, fooled you there, we haven't got any" you can go
somewhere else and ask to see that. And the one that's most helpful is the
one you want to go to in future, assuming there is one.
