Ours is worth less than 300megapounds.I live near a cow farm - the back fence of my garden is the edge of the
farm. I only notice a smell when the farmer is muckspreading (the first
time he did it after I moved here, I poured bleach in all the drains
until I figured out what was causing the smell). Even when three cows
are leaning over my fence and helping themselves to stuff off my compost
heap I haven't ever noticed any smell. The barn where the cows are
overwintered is ooh about 100yds away. I haven't ever been bothered by
the noise. They make a noise, yes, but it's the noise of cows mooing. It
beats traffic, people playing deafening music in their cars going by,
and car and burglar alarms going off for 10 minutes at a time by miles.
Ah, loverly. [Not the second bit the first bit]. I'm running away from car
noise, dog noise and kiddie noise... trampoline noise to be precise. Oh, and
a whole ship load of other stuff, which I won't get anywhere else even if I
moved into the dodgy end of Nottingham.
The first part sounds tempting enough to stump up 400+megapounds, perhaps. I
wonder if I could get such a home for 300+megapounds instead.
