however I have a vague recollection of a TV programme that centred
on a Whiken's child's naming ceremony celebrated with various cooked
dishes using the placenta that had been stored in the freezer.
Not that I am suggesting for one moment that you fit into either of
these two catagories!

Heaven forfend! No, I can honestly say that I gave no further thought
to either the placenta or the cord after it had been put into the
kidney bowl provided. I presume they have to be cremated or
something - there'd be all sorts of a ruckus if they just chucked 'em
in the bin, wouldn't there.
Isn't there a market for the cords? Or is it the blood thay
contain?Something to do with stem cell research? Any medisheddii have the
lowdown?
