Worst of all, where the soil pipe has been chased into the wall,
fortunately an internal wall, the blocks above it have collapsed down
onto it, partly crushing it. We are now scratching our heads and
wondering how to jbex around this. Looks like a new pipe-run to the old
exit-hole, which sadly will need boxing in for about a two-inch protrusion.
One of the nice things about living here is that it's only 35 years old.
The first ten years it was owned by the council and they're pretty good
at maintenance. The rest was owned by a LoL who didn't have much done.
The house (till we got here) was near enough original except having had
the sidraT done and the original hot air heating system removed and
radiators fitted. Oh, and rewired at some point.
