A small assortment of old GB coins, none of which appear to be
worth more than £3 each. And this:

which seems to be a cigarette lighter fashioned from an aluminium
or stainless body inlaid with one or two 1945 ha'penny pieces; the
circumference is engraved "L.R. Palmer". Wear on both faces suggests it
was used for several years at least.
I've no idea what it's made from, or how; there are no obvious
seams. I'd like to think it was hand-made by a squaddie awaiting demob,
but I guess it's more likely to be a commercial job, post-engraved.
Also some sort of a Grenadier Guuards nameplate, in brass:

I've blanked the Ser.No. and name as the first thing google turns
up for the SN is his registration in the GG Rolls, albeit with a variant
spelling of the name. If I read the site correctly, this implies he(she?)
is still alive. Any ex-GG men here might help me re-unite him with it?
Oh, the reverse is printed "J.R.GAUNT LONDON".
