You need to stop them getting in first, if you don't do that then there
will always be more to replace any you catch or kill. Then use some sort
of trap. Most effective is the ball-bearing mouse trap, AKA Tomcat.
But *not* - and this is important - while there's still any poison about
or likely to be any rats around which have eaten it.
We lost our much-loved Tiger last year after he caught a poisoned rodent
of some sort. I hope he's haunting the abstrads that put the poison
down, hooterem.
