I'm getting mightily ipssde off with the dangers of navigating the net
with a 'doze chamine, so I scored an old Mac from Fleabay (450 Mhz G3
with 704Mb of male sheep) c/w 17" monitor, keyboard and rodent for 62 of
your English squids, and have been running it (plugged into to my
Netgear router) connected to t'interwebby thingy pretty much 18 hrs per
day since Xmas without any Anti-virus or spyware s/w installed. The only
firewall is the NAT firewall on the router, and so far nothing has
happened. There's a video somewhere on the interweb that shows a 'doze
box, with a fresh install of XP getting totally borked within minutes
(literally) of it being plumbed onto the net.

I knew I'd like owning a Mac...
