The sempron is the same beast as an athlon but with less cache. It is
less zarbelous as a consequence. I don;'t think the heat difference is
significant.
I've just ordered a new socket A sempron for my shuttle sff computer,
'cos the original Athlon XP has died, and there are nearly no Socket A
processors available now. Which are a tad annoying - what are you
supposed to do for repairs.
