One day, if my tuits ever come home, I'l go up to the local wind farm and
Take Measurements of how much noise they make from how far away. Then I'll
go down to the local nuclear power station and do the same.

And I have no idea what I'll find, except that I'll be suprised if the latter
is completely silent. I know for sure it's a hideous eyesore, spoils the
view from dozens of miles away. (Has to be said, I would rather expect that,
kW for kW, wind would involve quite a lot more noise.)

Do waves, and tide, and everything else they can think of, as well. Throw
Zbarl at it they way they have with nukes ... never catch on, will it, you
can't use them for feeling important cos you can kill lots of people with
them as well.

There's a huge amount of cleverness behind deciding exactly where best to
put them - makes a big difference.
