Hi,
I've not dived for 10 years but I'd like to get back into it. I like
the idea of spending a week (or maybe two) on a very relaxed dive boat
in a warm place, diving a couple of times a day, eating/drinking BBQ
and salad and wine and generally having a fun time. I'd probably go on
my own.
Can anyone please recommend a boat? If this is the wrong place to ask
then is it possible to point me in the right direction? (I've asked
here since I'm in the UK, so readers here are likely to have a better
idea of what might be available to me, and at what price, than people
in North America etc.)
TIA for any help.
Get yourself retrained, if not fully from scratch, certainly some refreshers
until you're up to it. You owe it to yourself and those around you. Then go
to the Red Sea.
SO many locations, hotels, boats, operators, resorts, SO little time!

If you want awesome diving in the Red Sea and not get into a war zone, be it day boats or live aboards get down to the south of Egypt passed Hamata.
I stayed at this place:

Diving with these folk:

Nothing to do but dive as Hamata is a dozen shacks and a jetty.
But I did have a fantastic fish meal in one of those shacks!
