subs
We're trying to sort out how better to collect subs from scouts and
their parents.
We normally charge per term, but have a few kids who can't/won't pay
this way.
They pay weekly when they turn up; we're looking at them to see what
to do.
ISTM that some of them genuinely have no money, and I'm wondering how
others treat that?
Who should deal with them? When I was GSL it was the Leaders meeting
who recommended a grant be given to an individual, and the Gp Exec
sanctioned it but without knowing who was actually receiving it. I
can't find POR help here.
Then what about those who are not all that keen, and come once every
3-4 weeks, could pay termly (I think) but just don't? We have a blurb
that gets given out when kids join which says "you pay whether there
or absent", but of course that doesn't happen. How do you deal with
them? Or are you better organised or harder line than us?
All thoughts welcome.
