Never mind though, by the time it all takes effect there will have
been a change of government and a change in policy.
I had never noticed this until September but its happening all the time with government bodies. There seem to be endless groups coming up with "good ideas" and "best practice" but nobody seems to coordinate their efforts.
Apparently now in schools we should be teaching everybody how to cook, everybody should do a foreign language from an early age, we need to develop IT skills, teach them how to think, less tests and less time in the class room, but maintain the national curriculum at the current or even a higher level, all reasonable ideas in isolation but a digs breakfast when added together.
