still come to scouts and those who are ,"too tired". With Summer Camp, some are going away with parents the following day and need to be collected about 3 days early to ,"get ready" , some leave the night before, others are collected by their parents on the way to holiday.

I used to have a scout whose parents always came early to pick him up so that he could avoid packing up. They were so bloody smug over it too, and hardly bothered to disguise what they were doing.

I tried giving him pans to take home and get clean, but they came back still greasy, we even got his patrol to take their tent down early but he hid in the bog with "guts ache".

I tried talking to the parents but they as good as laughed in my face. Absolute pain in the arse, we were all glad when he left for "football training"
