Hi,

Wonder if anyone - Guides in particular - can send me instructions on
making a bedroll from a blanket (and a ***?)

Er well, we use sleeping bags these days.
Assuming no camp mat, the blanket serves as extra softness.
Take a look at:

The rolling is important for watertightness.

Perfect thanks!!!

Interesting - I have been toying with the idea of intrducing this with
our cubs - then there can be none of the usual " Baloo I can't
find..............." . Mind you it doesn't get over the problem of
where their jumper, waterproof, wash kit, towel (substitute any number
of items), might be. I just tell them it is no use telling me, as the
one thing I am certain of, is that I haven't got it!

the answer is simple... they are either wearing the lost clothes
already or there are at least two of them in their bag. Mums ALWAYS
overpack for cub camp... and are then surprised when so few of the
clothes get worn.
