Re: Problems with the Escouts Server

Hmm - I make a simple comment and somebody twists it all around - cheers.

I did not intend to be be blunt or rude - its what you read into to it - I
am very, very offended.

Is this what Scouting is all about?

So when are things likely to be back to normal?

We have a new server that will be online very shortly. It has been
brought and is the process of being set up. We appriciate that the old
server has been giving us problems, some of which we haven't been able
to rectify completely. The new server is a top of the range machine
which will show a marked improvement in reliability and speed. Based at
a data centre in Maidenhead it is linked directly into one of the UK's
main connections. Updates on the progress can be found on the EScouts
forum.

just so you know... your tone in your messages is blunt and rude.

cheers

chris (nothing to do with escouts but v happy with the way things are
going... my website is normally available and the volunteers are
making the server better at no cost to me! all good)
