is automatic but every now and then I have to twiddle my knobs to keep
things straight.) Don't suppose there's anyone around on ukrs at this
time with some hot coffee and biscuits? I see even Mr Rainsbury has
gone to bed - obviously all this teaching melarky is wearing him out.
Ah well off we go to have a twiddle! :-)

I was about at that time, just not about here.

What were you photographing? It is indeed a nice clear night, and a
superb chance for some Astrophotography. I have dabbled a bit with some
long exposures but nothing like a 7:30 hour one.

Would love to see what results you get.

Monthly camp last night and they were sleeping in a teepee which a
local site has just got and offered to us to test run. It has a wood
burner in the centre. I got up in the small hours for the usual and
saw a very bright object on the Eastern horizon. Looking at
'heavens-above' now I deduce it is probably Saturn. It is very close
to Venus at the mo' so if I had checked a bit later, she might have
been visible as well.

I was woken by the surf in Cardigan Bay, it was so still! Surf built
up gradually as dawn broke, so I don't know if something is brewing in
the Western Approaches.
