Ha ha.. I was trying to get a pair of boots for my daughter who is growing
like mad and whose feet have grown two sizes in the past two years.
Somebody on our course bought a pair for £19.99 on Saturday morning and
they looked fine for Bronze DofE.
I popped into ALDI yesterday and bagged a nice pair of walking boots for
kicking about the town. I have very broad feet and find shoes to narrow so
boots are generally better for me.
