What's wrong with ICT?
(And I only ever use YP on here, at Scouts they are generally referred
to as Scouts or by first names)
I have only ever heard the term ICT used in educational circles. It
has always been IT, IT news, IT week, IT Matters, IT Technician etc...
companies are doing. I suspect thought that ICT for schools is
completely different from ICT in business.
Many teachers and pupils don't seem to realise that this is not usedIt's definitely used (but then I'm never sure the higher management
elsewhere and bandy it about quite innocenlty then look confused when
you say "No I am an IT manager NOT an ICT manager"
using the term actually know what it means).
I never understood why the extra C was adopted, I know it stands for--
communication, but looked at in context I think that it is completely
redundant, IT covers it all. :-)
