Indeed, and the legislation appertaining to commercial activity
providers recognises this also.
And neither do NGBs always provide a suitable award or scheme on which
to base the standards.
My one wish would be that we should accept the concept of AALA
licencing and bring our in house schemes in line with the outdoor
centres. At the very least the AALA self certificatiobn scheme could
be used at County or District level to demonstrate how good our
systems hopefully are.
