Grand howl... went lacklustre a year or two ago... so i challenged the
sixers to put some effort in. now it is barked out like a war cry
WE WILL DO OUR BEST!
We have to be careful with new ones who are a bit surprised by the
noise... but it works very well still.
If the older 10year olds do it (the cool footy playing ones) then all
the kids will follow,
It took a paricular sixer though.
Nothing wrong with complete change... but just a small change might be
all that is needed

Our Beavers have a yell......
A few weeks ago i was aksed (as GSL) to go down and chat to a sudden intake
of a dozen Beavers... about Scouting, the sections, uniform etc etc
I ended my chat by saying, "We're the Best Beavers in Bermondsey." What
are we? and i got them shouting it louder and louder. All off the top of my
head really.
Well now, the beaver Leader calls out each week, " Who are we?" and they all
shout back.......
She said to me, "Now look what you've started!"
