Time to speak to your Field Commissioner again I think...

Thing is, am I the trouble maker? are John and I the problem?

I am worried that perhaps I'm causing too much hassle when none is needed,
and maybe I'm the one causing the trouble.

Am I just fighting for what is truly fair, or is it just that I want to
stamp my feet and get things done my way? There are two factions, the
beaver
lot, and the cubs and scouts, not the way a group should be.

I know I'm not the only paranoid one regarding all this, other leaders and
some of the exec share our concerns too.

Wish that there was someone impartial who could sit there and listen to us
and consider all sides. Right now feel that too much is happening behind
scenes again, and that isn't on.

Our poor field commisioner is going to hate my name if this carries on.

Firstly, it doesn't really matter at the start who is considered to be right
or wrong - both sides have a right to be heard.

The FDO is an ideal person to be the arbitator and hopefully you can all
reach compromise. If you cannot then whoever feels most aggrieved will
possibly leave as they will feel that they have been undermined (whether
that is you or some of the others who knows).

No-one on the committee should really be doing anything behind anyone's
back. A committee whatever way it goes should be doing the will of the
majority of those eligable to vote at the meetings.

As I asked earlier - Have they been elected - if they have not then they
have no mandate to do ANYTHING.

If they have been nominated by the GSL; he resigned didn't he - then those
nominated can no longer be considered part of the committee until a new GSL
is appointed.

You therefore just have the elected members. They can be voted off if they
were voted on in the first instance. You mention that some of the committee
are not happy - if there is a vote then it is the majority who count. Which
way will it go.

Get the FDO involved if you feel that the Distrct personnel are too close.
