A bunch of Guiders are currently trying to figure out the equivalent for
Scouters... purple y-fronts? teal long shorts? mushroom flares?
I know there exist teal helicopters, but I have the impression they're
more of an SAS style group who kidnap (forevermore) unlucky Scouters who
don't toe the party line. I'm not sure we have the equivalent in
Guiding, well we do but we don't have a name for them, they're so
hush-hush.
Anyway, clearly you lot are the authority on this issue, can you tell us
the answer?
classes all us with grey hair as the same and this is patently not the
case.
I think, "The Old Guard" probably sums it up.
I don't think 'greybeard' is the same thing at all. Greybeard simply says
'old', with an implication of the wisdom that comes with age. Whereas Old
Farts or Old Guard may well be young in years.

Cubs don't care how much you know, but they need to know how much you care.
