Unless you are built like Popeye the smaller 14" ones are big enough and are definitely Scout proof.
Word of warning, we seasoned ours but they still rusted over winter on the first year! I scrubbed them with wire wool re-seasoned them and yet every winter it comes back, and yes it does taint the food :-(
I think we might have done it wrong.
