Did you use drums with this? I have oftne thought about getting them
to make bongos out of coffee tins or buckets and stretching bits of
rubber over them but never seemed to get round to it.

Somewhere I still have a "make yourself" book from 40 odd years ago
that showed you how to make all sorts of instruments, including the
original tea chest bass, I must dig it out.
