He does seem to have a way of getting right up some peoples noses and he has clearly given the impression that he does take great pleasure in doing so. I can't fathom why that should please him but it seems that antagonising the posters in ukrs gives him some strange thrill.

However, the charges you lay of his being gratuitously offensive, bombastic and dogmatic could equally be applied to some of the postings that have been made in response to him. Despite his unfortunate posting style there are some who of late seem very willing to take the bait and do so quite vehemently.
