Yes, I agree that this is the fundamental difference between your view of
the world, and that of many other people here.
I'm making sweeping generalisations here, but scouting in the UKSA tends to
be based upon the writings and ideas of BP, but not bound by them. In your
view, as I understand it, this is not Scouting at all, but some kind of
"Youth Entertainment Organisation". I think you would find your views far
more aligned to those of the BPSA, whom I'm sure you are aware of.
Who am I to say that you are wrong and I am right? As far as I can tell
from your posts, what you are doing there works very well for you, so how
can I say it is wrong? Equally, I know that there are many very successful
groups here doing great things within Scouting that you would not deem
worthy of the name, but as far as I am concerned, their way of doing things
is just as good as yours.
I think it's a shame you can't recognise that, but those are your views, and
you are of course perfectly entitled to express them.
