Realistically, anyone towing a Leader with a Disco won't notice the
boat/trailer, unless they catch it on another car when changing lanes!

Other classic incidents include:

cars failing to change lanes into the space occupied the trailer,
mostly with an empty trailer,

I have to admit I've accidentally 'forgotten' the trailer was on
there after I've been cut up by someone and indicated and started to
put out slightly when they were beside it (evil grin).

a kamikaze pedestrian trying to cross a busy three-lane gyratory system
through the same non-gap,

LOL .. been there done that. I've done quite a bit of towing over the
years (I've just counted 6 trailers here, dinghy, 1/2 tonne goods, 1/4
tonne goods, 2 x motorcycle trailers and 1 x cycle trailer (to tow
behind not carry)).

and a Peugeot 205, I will swear, blasting under the stern of the
Wayfarer that was being reversed across the road.

And it's not like that's a small boat eh?

Oh, and a Fiat at Hanger Lane passing between the AA van towing and my
then car barely before the tow-line parted.

Ouch ..

The Disco at least shouldn't suffer the trailer taking over.

I have seen one on the M25 though ... on the hard shoulder with it's
tail in the air and a large caravan behind on it's side)

Once saw a
glider and its tow-car spin, more than once if memory serves, finishing
very neatly lined up on the hard shoulder of the M40, but pointing the
wrong way.

Cripes .. and that's no short load eh!

Spare wheel & bearings are a good idea.

2 spare wheels and bearing set (and my Leatherman for the split pin
and a big adjustable spanner) ;-)

All the best ..
