: Question2: Is it worth getting a trailing log of some sort? Question 3
: in that case - where from/make/type?
I'm not sure if anyone still does them. The Walker's Knotmaster is gone
It can still be found in antique shops at ridiculous prices.
I got a Knotmaster as a backup for my 3 GPS units but the trailing end fell off in a F8 in Biscay. Luckily all GPS units still worked so I could plot a position.
But then again, I only paid £ 20 for it. Some people really want to get rid of theirs. Now I know why.
