Are American small boat papers of any use in Europe ?

Are American small boat papers of any use in Europe ?

Have an American (US Coast Guard) 100 ton Masters license , and have used
it in the States to deliver sailboats; ( I'm a small boat sailor here ;
have a 30 foot sloop in Long Island, New York, waters). Girlfriend is
moving to Spain to keep her EU documents active, and I'm wondering if my
USCG papers would in any way help get me work in Spain .Is there any notion
of reciprocity ? Is there delivery work in the Med or other use for such
papers ? Is there sailing work of any kind in the Spanish Mediterranean ?
