I might be mistaken, but just because a news group is preceded with a "uk" it doesn't mean it's for the exclusive use of the United Kingdom. I think it means it's got a UK focus. In other words it tells subscribers what to expect content-wise but it's not ever to be construed as a nationality barrier. That being said, you Limey wankers seem to forget that the U.K. consists of more countries than just England but you give the impression that uk.rec.sailing is only for blokes who live in England. So you don't become even more chauvinistic and biased, you should welcome non-UK citizens into this news group. That way you receive the benefit of a more worldly viewpoint. You just can't expect to remain an island unto yourselves in this day and age of instant communication. Your parochialism is unbecoming of a so-called world power. But, you've even managed to tarnish the world power image with the recent debacle in Iran when your sailors and marines acted more like girly-men than military men. Allowing a small group to be kidnapped under the guns of one of your warships. Simply inexcusable! Since when have your professional sailors all become spineless, cowardly wimps? Could it be because you're appeasing the Islamic element within your boarders because you can't even control the ever-increasing size of your militant Islamic population so that it's already too late for you to keep control of your own country? In thirty or forty years, due to demographics that show there will be more Muslims voting in your country than native Englishmen, you will officially have become another Muslim theocracy. If you're going to attempt to control something, don't waste your effort on a newsgroup. That's the least of your worries. Control your physical borders instead. Expel the Islamite.
To be honest soft lad I welcome most peoples, my big problem is with you lot.
I can't stand your poxy, theocratic country. Does that sound America phobic? Racist? Yes probably and I couldn't give stuff.
Islam, Christianity simply differing sides of the same coin, you're all crackpots with imaginary friends.
