You might have found it a lot easier to agree if you hadn't snipped
out my words:

There is some lovely sailing in the Firth of Clyde.
Millport. Round Bute including the Kyles. Arran. Ailsa Craig. Loch Fyne.
Lonch Long and Carrick Castle. It doesn't have the majestic emptiness of
outside, but it's a great place to sail, and easy to spend a couple of
weeks. For crying out loud, people manage to spend entire lifetimes
cruising the Solent, and that's a tiny proportion of the size and interest
of the Clyde.
I don't think anybody would dispute that. Certainly not me - I love
the place.
