Thanks! I was a little hesitant since there's absolutely no mention of
them anywhere, and the prices are actually considerably lower than
others (although it *is* the Learn to Sail package) - but I guess if
the company has just been formed, there won't be much history on the
'Net.
There is more on the web on "Activity Holidays" although a search
tends to get swamped by such a generic title.
Activity Holidays started in 1990. We signed up with them in 1999 at
the London Boat Show and they have been at the show since. I guess
there wont be much on Activity Yachting - as you say, they are new
under that name.
We went as sailors, but others in the flot were having tuition and
refreshers. I was quite impressed. They did seemed focused on ppl
being able to sail and not just faffing about.
