Is Navtex service reliable one??
On top of that, with the last unit loosing all the memory when switched
off, as if internal battery not
charging/working.

My NASA Navtex has been rather patchy, though I've never actually had it
looked at. Never sure whether it's the coverage or the set.
Mine has never work well. Coverage is within 50 miles of Niton but
patchy after that, eg Channel Islands.
