solid' medium to 'push against'.
I think you mean denser. You're wrong on this. If you can use a fluid
(air) to push against another fluid (water) you can certainly do the
reverse. (In theory - in practice it might be a bit different)
than you do.

moving over the panels and create even more forward thrust?
Not sure about that one; it might work but I suspect you need real true
wind over the ground to extract energy from, not apparent wind caused by
your own motion.

Well at least you admit that much, but the fact that you won't accept
either models, or full size vessels that have been seen working, or
academic papers that prove the theory.
