Aerogen 4 will output up to 20amps in GF winds
my batteries would be boiled dry when the boat
isn't being used. When I go aboard in winter, the battery bank (500AH)
voltage is often around 13.4 - 14v (until I start the heater!) and the dump
resistor is quite warm.
Surely even 20amps to a 500AH battery bank would be a trickle charge?
You can charge an 8AH battery with 300mA 24/7 without doing harm. Scale
that up and you'd think 20amps wouldn't harm 500AH worth of battery.
