Did he give ANY indication as to when you might be able to run again
(not to be confused with WHEN you might run again!)? This is my 5th
day of rest and I don't think I can run still. I'm planning on not
doing anything (no bike, no turbo trainer) until the end of the week
when hopefully I may be OK. That then leaves me 9 days till the
London, guess it will just be some short runs till then?
Look at it this way, any running you do between now and then is
extremely unlikely to enhance your fitness in time, it might break you
so you cannot run, it might stress the injury so you don't finish the
Marathon and finally, after all your training are you really likely to
lose significant fitness?
If you want to exercise between now and then, hit the pool. Then turn up
for London and hope you can do it. Best of luck.
