have you tried yoga or even pilates?
I have dabbled in both at some point.
you can get some pretty good dvd's to
help you if you don't want to go to a class. Most of the pilates stuff will
help with your tummy/back/sides etc. and have the added benefit of helping
flexibility and breathing.
That's a good idea, not just for rolls of fat, but general flexibility
and strenght.
Hmmm yes, thanks for the idea.
I tried it but got a bit frustrated with it, but at the time I did notice
that the rolls of flab round my belly bunched up a bit.
Yoga - best exercise was 'breath of fire' with root lock - be careful if
you've had a jalfrezi the night before though... it can mean a whole
different thing!
Um ok!

I'm hoping you can help me better than others.
OK, I don't really need help, but advice.
I have a roll of fat round my middle.
From the body fat thread you may remember that I do not need to loseweight. I am not getting bigger.
I just need to tone up my belly....oh and I suppose my inner thighs
could do with some improvement.
Running doesn't really work on those areas. I see good tone in my
calves, back of thigh and upper body.
What exercises would be good? Good old sit ups and thigh swinging? Can
you suggest some exercises I could do at home? I do not like gyms.
Thanks,
Mary Ann
