If you want a good core muscle exercise that *isn't* exercise (if you get my
drift), try horse riding. Relatively expensive pastime but it's really good
for tightening up abdominals and working all those posture maintaining
muscles.

I wasn't expecting that answer that's for sure, though I can see how it
would be good.
Thing is, I'm rather afraid of horses. Not scared, just a bit wary of
their big heads and hooves.
I don't think I can fit in horseriding into my schedule...somehow! How
about a bucking bronco in the living room?
