I think you were joking. 2 litres is nothing special.
Even 3 litres wouldn't matter. For kidney health,
more is better.

Nowhere in my two degrees in Physiology was I taught that one and
haven't read it since, so I would be grateful for the information...
Unless their diet is completely
salt free, the normal person doesn't risk
hyponatraemia.
that is not what the surverys after marathons have shown, it is also not
what the deaths post Ecstasy ingestion indicate. It is simply not
necessary for the average person to drink anywhere near 2l. In fact if
the diet is not dry it is often not necessary to drink.
