Gee - sorry to hear that.
Like Tim said, so long as you got put back together pretty much the same as
you were before the accident, you should be fine.
A couple of points to remember:
1) You're essentially a new runner
2) You will not run as fast, or as far as you did for quite a while.
3) The 10% rule still applies. Bear this especially in mind as you were
pretty fit before, you cardio fitness will return quickly.
4) You've probably lost bone mineral density through lack of impact, which
predisposes you to stress fracture. See rule 3.
5) Enjoy running now you're back to it!!
You'll soon be kicking all our arses again! I remember when I got back from
a long lay off (not as long as you - about 12 weeks). I couldn't run more
than 10 minutes, but it felt wonderful!
