Yes... freeware, shareware and trial versions, which are legal to
download. Although they are provided for you to download free of
charge, they are still copyright.

But, if you are asking if I have made *illegal* downloads... NO.
No need for it, there is plenty of freeware and shareware out there. As for
music, if it's that good, I buy the CD.

Freeware and shareware are still copyright, giving it away or offering a free
trial does not change who owns the rights.
With shareware, they will often allow people to make copies and pass them
on. To them, that is free promotion. However, even with shareware, copying
is only legal if they state that they allow it... and they still own the copyright, so
other restricted acts are still illegal.

Please, don't judge everyone else by your standards. Kind of reminds me of
some criminal being interviewed on TV.
"They should legalise it, everyone does it... man"

Guess what he wanted legalising... man.
No, *everyone* does NOT do it. And, if you legalise something just because
of the number of offenders, then sex offenders will have a case for legalising
their acts.

in your possession.

But I think you are missing the point.
This is a group for discussion, and we are discussing. If you don't like it, then
don't take part in the discussion. However, I would like to see the views of
more people on the group about such things.

Peter.
