That doesn't mean no one has the ability, though, does it.

It doesn't mean that a race of eight armed humans live in the treetops of Hyde Park either. But the onus for extraordinary claims such as "psi" or eight armed tree dwelling humans lies with the person making the claims.

Given the expected reception they'd get, is it any wonder any real ones prefer to remain anonymous.

Which would be true except Ron et al *claim* quite publically to have amazing powerz but piss and moan when anyone dares doubt their unsubstantiated claims. He claims to be able to predict lotto numbers, blow light bulbs, make books fly off shelves, but singularly runs away when asked to demonstrate any of this. Even when a million dollars is available.

The reception that Ron and others get is not from their claims, but from their totally and utter inability to back those claims up in any way. If a "psi" doesn't like being doubted or whatnot, all they need do is convincingly demonstrate the powers they claim and they'll silence all the critics at a stroke.


Clearly many cannot produce the effects they claim, and one is left wondering why. But for those who can, would you want to be tarred by the same brush?


They wouldn't be tarred with any brush if they can demonstrate the powers they claim.
