Re: un quick release tripod adaptor

I have a manfotto with a quck release plate, fine.
But I now have several other hide/car window brackets, mini tripods
etc for camera and telescope that do not. Not to mention lenses that
mount to the tripod, so the quick release becomes a slow release pain
in the bum.
Does a gizmo exist that turns a quick release plate back into a
conventional "twiddle the knob" quicker slow release?

After all this chat I realised that any Ball or pan a tilt head could be
fitted to your QR to change it into a none QR head if the replacement head
is not a QR head best price may come with a tripod even a lightweight used
one. just watch out for 1/42 fitting as per camera qr plate and not 3/8"
mount found on good heads.
